Chicken Soup: My Crazy Family
The story I submitted to ‘Chicken Soup for the Soul’ is called “Flights of Fancy”, (page 293). In the story, I relate some fun and fashion we, our son and his wife enjoyed on a trip to visit our children living in Charlotte, North Carolina – more specifically, the adventure we had on the flight over.
“What can she do?”
At the end of the day, your loved one simply wants what we all want – to know we’re loved. Some days will be better than others, but remember: You’re doing the best you can, and so are they.
Tips for help remembering nouns
The significant difference between normal lapses – such as forgetting an occasional noun such as someone’s name and worrisome memory loss is determined by the impact it has on your ability to function—your ability to do the things you want to do.
